Hospitality Team

Sunday Servants Needed

We are looking for Sunday Servants.
One Sunday a month commitment 8:00 am – 11:30 am.

 * Greeters
* Coffee and fellowship Hosts and Hostesses

* Help with Communion (1st Sunday of the month)
 * Soundboard Operators (no experience necessary, training provided)
* Offering Counters (After 3rd service or sometime on Monday – need at least 2 non related servants)

Congregational Care Team Servants Wanted


Let's each do our part to offer support whenever & however we can. The Congregational Care Team invites you to join us in matching your time/talents with the support needs presented.  BLESSINGS!

Pathway (Small Groups)

Pathways are designed to help you move closer to Christ through small groups.
The groups are designed on levels.

Pathway 1 - This is a discovery step.
Pathway 2 - This is a discernment step.
Pathway 3 - This is the deep dive into your faith.

Be it with prayer, relationships, service, inclusion, tithing, or overall discipleship, there is a Pathway designed to help you grow closer to Christ.

Baking Therapy with Stan

This is a baking session with our professional baker Stan Knox.
Learn how to bake cookies and treats that will be shared Sunday mornings for our fellowship times.
All supplies will be taken care of. Just show up and learn from Stan!!!

Fire Station 6 Adoption

We are collecting beverages (water, Gatorade, etc.) and healthy snacks for our first responder neighbors. We cannot bring homemade items at this time.  
Also, we want to include notes and cards of encouragement for them.
You can drop the snacks, beverages, and cards off at the church and we will deliver them after the 1st week of each month.


Feeding Hayward Elementary

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve others in our community?  Sunnycrest provides a meal to Hayward Elementary area families the third Monday night of the month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and/or serve the meal out of the Nightwatch Canteen van. You may also sign up in the back of the church.

Nightwatch Canteen

Sunnycrest and other United Methodist churches in Sioux Falls take turns serving a meal on Sunday nights to folks who otherwise wouldn’t receive one. Sunnycrest servants are needed to either help with prepping food, serving, or for clean up. If you, your family, small group or ministry group would like to help, please contact Ron Rensberger.

The Glory House - Peer Coaches

The Glory House is looking for peer coaches for men & women just getting released from prison.  Please contact them at 605-332-3273 or speak with Phil Tripp if you are interested in becoming a peer coach.
