Sunnycrest's Response to Corona Virus

In keeping with the guidance from the CDC and the city, and at the direct request of the mayor’s office,  Sunday services will be online only at 9:30 AM.

A nightly prayer time has been set up at 7:00 pm every night. Please make sure to tune in and tell our leaders some of your prayer requests. Praying With You Live can be found on our Facebook page and Youtube channel as well.

All church activities have been canceled. Please check with your small group leaders to see if your group will continue to meet online.

All youth and children's activities have been moved to online as well. 

The church leadership team will stay in touch regularly and make a determination on services and events going forward.

During this time, a lot of people in our community will be in more need than usual. Sunnycrest is participating with other churches in our community to respond and serve our neighbors in need. We will have more information to help in the coming week, but you can sign up to help now at

Phillippians 4:4-9 tells us:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

We need to not proceed in fear but remember that the Church is not a building but one body brought together by the faith of all believers. This is an opportunity to reach out to your neighbors and be the way that the people around you experience the unfailing love of Jesus Christ.
